Jonah is a beautiful light brindle boy with big, soft eyes and a very sweet, quiet disposition. He's gentle and easygoing, and very affectionate. He's happy with a nice soft bed and a few good romps each day.

Jonah has limited vision, so he will need a home dedicated to his special needs. He's been good with the female dogs we've paired him and his buddy, Ishmael, with. He hasn't been paired with any other males or small dogs, and we don't
know if he's cat safe.

This is a dog who will bring a lot of joy into his new forever home.

Arwen is a beautiful, extremely sweet, loving young shepherd greyhound cross.
She and her sister, Aspen, are getting a great opportunity to
play and socialize with other dogs here at Pawsitive Energy.

They're high energy girls, and we're working on their mouthiness, jumping
and general puppy high jinx. These two will take a dedicated guardian
who will be committed to working with them on obedience and manners.

Aspen is Arwen's sister, a uniquely gorgeous greyhound German shepherd cross
with the biggest ears you can imagine. She's sweet, loving and very smart, and has started basic obedience. She learns very quickly and will be a great buddy for someone who likes to get up and go!

Hypnotic is an absolutely gorgeous American Staffordshire Terrier. He is good with adults, very obedient, and he does not show signs of aggression with other dogs kenneled close to him. He would be a great obedience or working prospect. Hypnotic will only be placed with an experienced guardian, and home visits and extensive reference reviews will be conducted. He must go to a home with no cats, dogs or children.

Hypnotic has an adoption fee of $250.

Harry is a sweet, adorable, wild child -- badly in need of a haircut in this picture!
He's feisty with other dogs, but does very well in his day camp and at home
with dogs of all shapes and sizes -- as well as cats. We're working on the housebreaking and basic manners. This is an adorable little dog!

Jersey is a beautiful, one year old Saint. She gets along great with other dogs, and is very loving and affectionate. Jersey loves to get dirty, and as you can see, slobber + dirt = goo! She is still very puppy, so obedience lessons will be a necessity.

Jersey needs a lot of grooming to look her best, and she's very good about it.

She's very fit from spending her days at a day camp for dogs,
so she'll need someone with
an active lifestyle who can keep up with her.

Lewis is a great little guy rescued from a bad situation where he was left to fend for himself in a very large pack of dogs of all sizes. He walked away covered in scabs and scars, but otherwise completely untraumatized.

He is extremely sweet and loving, and just wants to be somebody's baby
so badly! The first day he was here he climbed a fence to come look for me,
and waited right by the back door until I came out -- just like he'd lived here for years.

So he is quite the escape artist when he wants to be with you, which is something his
new family will need to be prepared for.

Lewis i s going to make some beagle lover a wonderful best buddy!

Mr and Mrs Jones are inseparable, and need to be adopted together. They were found abandoned in a cow pasture, frightened, dirty and adorable. He is a sweet little imp of a dog, with a big grin and a tail that never stops wagging. Jonsey doesn't know a stranger. He and his Mrs play rough and need a lot of exercise, so their new human will need to be committed to getting them out to run and play each day. They're crate trained and really well behaved. Watching them play and snuggle will warm your heart.

Mrs Jones is the more reserved of the two, though she will warm up and be affectionate when he's not around. They are both great in the crate, but very high energy when it's time to play. They do play rough, but are the best of friends so it's all in fun.

Watching them snuggle with each other is so sweet -- he just can't ever seem
to get close enough to her. She plays coy, but she loves him as much as he loves her.

Ezra
A Big Ole' AKC Yellow Lab Who
Lives for His Human
& Will Fetch 'Til the
Cows Come Home!

Ez has lived at Pawsitive Energy for over a year.
He was much loved at his previous home, but a
combination of a move across the country, a toddler just
learning to pull ears and another baby on the way was a little
too stressful for him.  Ezra snapped at his little human sister on
two occasions, and his heartbroken family decided it just wasn't
safe for him to continue living with them.

Ezra is 7 years old, and weighs about
75 pounds. He is neutered.
We have medical records, AKC papers and
a letter from his old family.

Dorothy, AKA "Big Girl" is an Airdale mix and is 2 yrs. She stands about 3 ft tall to the top of her head.  She is thin and weighs approx 50 lbs.  She is very intelligent, loyal and wants to be with her owner. She loves to play and chew on bones and rawhides.  She can be food and toy possessive/protective with other dogs and we are working on this behavior.  Her training through DogSOS already includes sit, down, and shake and we are working on a few more and walking nice on the leash.  When you first take her places she is very excited but calms down and is easy to deal with.  She loves being groomed.  She doesn't care to be crated but does well out of the crate. She's a bit of a Houdini and can escape crates and fences, but only when she hears her owner on the other side and wants to get to them. Basically she'll do anything to be with you!  She really is a sweet girl and will make a wonderful companion for someone looking for loyalty and fun in a dog.

He is housebroken, crate-trained and knows sit.

ADOPTED! Benny 4.5 yr old German Shepherd mix. Benny is so sweet, you couldn't get mad at him if you tried! He might be almost 5, but he still looks at you with those big puppy eyes. He's very shy with new people but turns into a best friend in no time. He makes a great companion for other dogs. He's a lazy boy and likes to sleep a lot. His perfect day would be hanging around the house or taking a leasurely stroll with his people. He walks pretty well on leash, so he would be a great daily casual walk partner. He's a creature of habit and prefers the comfort of familiarity. Does this gentle giant sound like the perfect mate for you? Well, he's housebroken and has good house manners too.
